China’s Solid-Wood Flooring Steals the Show at KazBuild 2025: Green Innovation and Court-Grade Quality Power Central-Asia Expansion
From 3 to 5 September 2025, the 31st KazBuild—Almaty International Building and Interiors Exhibition(KazBuild 2025)—was held at the Atakent Expo Centre. As Central Asia’s largest construction-industry event, the show drew exhibitors from more than 40 countries, with China’s solid-wood flooring sector taking centre stage under the banner of “Quality + Innovation”.
Residential solid-wood flooring: eco-friendly and bespoke solutions set the trend
Companies from Zhejiang, Jiangsu and other provinces unveiled new SPC rolls and multi-layer engineered boards, promoting “zero-formaldehyde” adhesives and temperature-regulating cores that exactly match Central Asia’s demand for green building materials. Several brands signed contracts on the spot, lifting orders by more than 30 % year-on-year.
Sports solid-wood flooring: professional performance backed by global certification
Hebei Cangzhou Youtong Sports Facilities Engineering Co., Ltd. presented its “three-level shock-absorbing keel system” sports floor, FIBA-approved with an impact-absorption rate above 90 %. The product was selected for Kazakhstan’s national stadium upgrade project. Value-added options—embedded court logos and real-time temperature–humidity monitoring—are opening the region’s premium sports market even wider.
China–Kazakhstan cooperation deepens, industrial chains align
During the fair, Chinese and Kazakh enterprises signed multiple agreements covering raw-material supply and mutual recognition of technical standards. As the Belt and Road Initiative advances, China’s solid-wood flooring industry is accelerating its Central Asia footprint through technology transfer and brand building, injecting fresh momentum into the global shift toward greener construction materials.
